We are Ged and Donna Morgan. We moved into the village of Waldringfield in October 2005, along with our son Stuart, dog Clan (no longer with us), and a mountain of boxes. Our move was from one special place in the Peak District to this little piece of heaven on Suffolk’s famous coastline. To look out at the beauty of the River Deben every day is a delight and privilege.

Inspired by its magical beauty, one of Donna's favourite pastimes is creating greetings cards from her photography of the Deben, of which many images are used on this website. Ged's days are spent mixing business with pleasure. After years of dreaming, he has turned his love affair with the sea into a respectable marriage of Sea School, providing shorebased and practical RYA courses. As for Stuart, when he's not at school he can usually be found on the river. Here you can see Ged and Stuart at play on board 'Misty Blue'. Boating enthusiasts might want to consider combining a holiday with gaining an RYA certificate: practical powerboat course (PBL2) on the River Deben; shorebased VHF, Day Skipper and Yachtmaster Theory courses; or just book a day with Ged to brush-up on boat handling skills and/or navigation. www.seabornecharter.co.uk New for 2012, we are offering river trips on board 'Misty Blue' at a cost of £50.00 for up to four passengers. Visit Ramsholt, Bawdsey and Felixstowe Ferry (the mouth of the river) or head up river to the market town of Woodbridge and take in some stunning scenery. Trip duration 1hr to 1hr 30mins. |
