Quayside Cottage and The Boathouse are one-bedroomed detached self-catering cottages sitting in the grounds of Quayside, on the banks of the River Deben.

Single travellers and couples looking for something special need look no further. Whichever you choose, enjoy:

Boaters and Fishermen, Walkers and Cyclists Welcome...           

Boaters are welcome to secure a small boat (e.g. tender, canoe, dinghy). 

We do have a buoy on a pulley system and securing rings set in the wall of the quay. 

If you intend to travel here by boat and require a visitor's mooring:  telephone Waldringfield Harbourmaster on 01728 685669

Fishermen will enjoy the best fishing here at Quayside during the summer months for sea bass and mullet. 

In winter the Deben will have whiting, codling and flounder. 

For fishing supplies and bait:  Stuart's Guns & Tackle, 3A & B Wilford Bridge Road, Melton, Woodbridge, IP12 1DG; t 01394 385567. 

Bait orders may require 3-4 days' notice.

You do not require a fishing licence to fish here at Quayside.  However, you may need a licence if you intend to visit other locations during your stay.

Walkers and Cyclists have an endless choice (walking and cycle routes provided). 

Your cycle store is shared between Quayside Cottage and The Boathouse.  Puncture repair kit is provided.
